County Health Center Co-Applicant Board

To meet Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) requirements as outlined in the Co-Applicant Board Bylaws and in the County of Sacramento establishing resolution. The Co-Applicant Board helps guide the Sacramento County Health Center’s program priorities to improve the health of the medically underserved and individuals experiencing homelessness. 

Membership

The Co-Applicant Board is a community​ and consumer-based governing body consisting of ten members. The Health Center’s special population of individuals experiencing homelessness is represented. Board members have expertise in the areas of advocacy, social services, mental health, legal affairs, and administrative support. All members are appointed by the County Board of Supervisors, are subject to conflict of interest requirements, and are unpaid.

Meeting Details

Notes:

• Meeting times will be extended by 30 minutes when needed to complete mandatory activities. Board Members will receive advance notice when a meeting will be extended.
• If a scheduled meeting is canceled, it will be rescheduled as soon as possible to ensure compliance with HRSA requirements. Board Members will be notified of the date, time and location of any rescheduled meeting.
• Monthly meetings are full CAB meetings and are subject to open meeting laws as mandated in the Brown Act.

*Special meetings are typically held in February to 1) approve the SCHC budget and 2) to approve the submission of the Uniform Data Report (UDS) report to HRSA. These are typically held as separate special meetings due to the short timeline between when budget timeline is given to SCHC and when the final product is due. **NO SPECIAL MEETING IS REQUIRED IN 2026**
