Juvenile Correctional Health

​​​​Juvenile Correctional Health provides health care services to youth detained in the Sacramento County Youth Detention Facility.  Services include physical health, behavioral health, dental, pharmaceutical services, and ancillary services.  

Mission

The mission of Juvenile Correctional Health is to provide high quality health care services to detained youth by ensuring effective and efficient service delivery in collaboration with Sacramento County Probation Department, Division of Behavioral Health Services, and community service agencies.

Adult Correctional Health

Adult Correctional Health provides health care services to adults within the county jail facilities.  Services include primary care, women's health, behavioral health, pharmacy, ancillary, specialty, and hospital services.  Most of the specialty services and all of the hospital services are provided offsite.  Service delivery is provided through county staff and contracted providers.

Reentry Opportunities and Access to Resources (ROAR) Portal

Adult Correctional Health's ROAR Program focuses on helping formerly incarcerated individuals reintegrate into society and address core challenges like recidivism, homelessness, and unemployment. The ROAR Portal allows registered Community-Based Organization users to submit an engagement form and update client information.
