Dental Sealants

Dental sealants are a clear, thin coating that protects the chewing surfaces of molars (back teeth) from cavities. Sealants on permanent molars protect against 80% of cavities for two years and continue to protect against 50% of cavities for up to four years.1 Placing sealants is painless and does not require numbing.
